At the Manawatu Harness Racing Club, we bring you the thrill of live racing in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Whether you're here for the racing, the social vibe, or just a great evening under the lights, there’s something for everyone!

🌿 Plenty of Space to Enjoy – Stretch out on our spacious green lawn (perfect for the kids to burn off some energy!), grab a seat in the grandstand, or relax in the public or sponsors’ lounge. Prefer to watch from your car? Park up alongside the track and soak in the action from the best seat in the house!

🍔 Food & Refreshments – Enjoy a bite from our onsite catering and a drink from the bar, or bring along a chilly bin and set up your own picnic outside.

🚗 The Ultimate Racing Thrill – If you’re an adrenaline junkie, don’t miss the chance to ride in the mobile start vehicle! Feel the power of a full field of horses thundering beside you at 40km/h—less than a meter away. It’s a heart-pounding experience like no other! (Available on Tuesdays – register at the Secretary’s office.)
